I just spoke with Linda --- and, she simply said "He is Home." It is so hard to write this post ---I know without a doubt that Skip loved the Lord and is with him as I write this; yet, my heart is sad for the loss that those of us who loved him will feel. He stepped into eternity this morning - he was surrounded by friends and family at the time. Linda was at peace as I spoke with her - and, I am comforted by the faith of this family - what a gift to KNOW where Skip is and to have confidence in the fact that he is in a place "beyond anything we can imagine". Please pray for peace and comfort over his family. Now more than ever, they will need our help, support, love and prayers as they continue on their journey...
In Christ,

Dear Osgood family,
Over the past several months, you have prevailently been on my heart. The Holy Spirit has moved and encouraged me in ways only God knows. You are an amazing family - full in the riches of His glory. May peace reign in your hearts during this time. What blessed assurance you have in the eternal standing of your beloved Husband, Father, Son... As I know your hearts will grieve, I also know the Spirit within you will not only sustain you, but uplift you to a joyful realization of His mercies. We are praying for you and are so thankful for your family. You are a blessing to us...
With love in Christ,

"Hope in God; for I shall again praise Him, my help and my God"... - Psalm 42:5
Dear Linda, Kailey, Hannah and Bronwyn:
We cry great tears of sadness and joy knowing Skip is not with us, yet he resides with our Lord and Savior. Tina is so right ~ this journey has revealed in the four of you amazing gifts of strength, grace, courage, gentleness, kindness and patience...we are witnessed to by watching you weather this storm. I pray that God will continue to fill your hearts and minds with peace and loving memories of our beloved Skip. Please call upon us for ANYTHING!

Dear Linda, Kailey, Hannah & Bronwyn,
We have been inspired and amazed by your strength, hope and courage. You are truly a remarkable family. It is our prayer that you find comfort and peace in knowing that Skip is at home in heaven with our Father. You have been, and will continue to be, in our thoughts and prayers. Please don't hesitate to call or e-mail if you need anything at all.

Dear Linda and Family,
Words can not express how we feel about Skip's passing this morning. How sad it is to lose a Christain such as he was. What an inspiration to us all. We have been and will continue to pray that God will reveal the good in this to your family. We know that He has many lessons out of this planned for you all. We pray that God will put the right people in place for you and your family to handle all of the things that Skip would have. We are so sad for your loss, but... a part of us can not help to smile and shed a tear of happiness when we think of Skip in the arms of our Lord, reaping all of the treasures that God has set aside just for him. We thank God to have had a chance to know him. In His Word, The Fagan Family
Dear Linda, Kailey, Hannah & Bronwyn:
The Lord only knows what words would comfort you at this time; yet knowing that my friend and brother-in-Christ is rejoicing at the feet of our Savior brings a sense of peace as I pray for you all at this time.
Whatever you need, whenever you need it.
In His service and by YOUR side,
The Petrie Family
Dear Linda, Kailey, Hannah and Bronwyn,
We are praying that the Holy Spirit fills your home with the peace of the Lord and the comfort that can only come from Him. Skip is with the Lord in His perfect eternal home and what a joy it is to have that assurance-we will see him again someday. We are here for you and pray that God will use us for the purpose of putting His arms around you and letting you know that you are loved and not alone. Love, your friends and family in Christ, Lora, Doug and Julia Poe
Dear Osgoods,
Skip is a truly great guy, and we are going to miss him while we are temporarily separated from him. We love you guys, and there are many who are grieving alongside you, but as you can see in these posts, not "as those who have no hope". We know that right now he's basking in the warm glow of his Saviour's love and feeling the fresh wind of heaven on his face.
The Living Bible renders Ps 116:15 as, "His loved ones are very precious to Him and He does not LIGHTLY let them die". As I was thinking about this the other day, I realized, again, and as you know, that there's some greater good that God wants to bring about because of this heartfelt loss. I believe He feels our griefs even deeper than we do.
Our thoughts and prayers are, and have been, with you.
Bill, Cindy, Kaylee, and Garrett
